Cali Trip
It's always a WONDERFUL thing to get out of the heat, so when a photo shoot opportunity comes up in San Diego, I'm there!
Our location was at a park with many murals that document information on the art, culture and history of Chicano's. With all the brightly colors throughout the underpass and story it entailed... it was pretty interesting. >SEE LARGER PHOTOS
After we were done we had the rest of the day to just keep cool... so naturally this included cooling off at the beach. =)
And boy was it COLD!! It was odd to me because it was so hot out, but I guess I had forgotten this isn't like the E.Coast where the water is 85 degrees... it felt more like 50 BRRrrrrr. So I wasn't as brave as my nephew to stay in as long as he did. But nevertheless, it was still wonderful to be there and hear the waves crashing...
And see the seagulls flying around many of the kids being 3/4 buried in the sand, LoL.
So in closing, it won't be long before I head back out there... so who knows, maybe I'll bump into you the next time! ;)
