8th Grade Promotion Session
These (3) boys have just a few weeks left of 8th grade...
Because they're such good friends at school, I did their session as a group shoot. So below you'll see, my son, Mario, and his two friends, Jordan and Luca. I thought it was important to capture them together since this will be the last time the three of them will be together at this school... before they venture into their new High School.
I am so proud of each of them! They're all great kids and have a bright future ahead of them.
With that said, I'm going to brag a little about my son, Mario, because this Mama-photographer has been sharing his photos since he was a baby! :)
Every year, he's been a straight A student, he's made the Honor roll, student of the month and the Principle's List. As well as, the Dean's list, countless times at his previous schools. He's been a member of the National Junior Honor Society for the last couple years, and is part of our monthly Outreach program at church. My Mario has made this Mama SO proud in more ways than one! I can honestly say, to many people, this teenager may be quiet, but he is very studious, sharp, and witty. He loves to travel, listen to music and just have fun. But most importantly he Loves the Lord.
He's always set his own standard high and even above mine that I have for him and his sister... in fact, I kid you not, Mario has been goal oriented since he could read and write at age 2. :D
As this school year comes to a close, Mario, Luca and a handful of other 8th grade students will be off to Washington D.C. for a week long school trip, just in time for their 8th grade promotion. Then after a short summer break, these three will be official Freshman in High School, and two of them will be attending (MIT) Maricopa Institute of Technology and ready for new endeavors.
With so many career choices to choose from, I know that they will be amazing at whatever they decide to do! Here's a sneak peek into their shoot.
