Yuma's Territorial Prison
If you're looking for an interesting museum with a lot of history, then Yuma's Territorial Prison is one place to visit.
Once an active prison, is now a historal museum.
The prison accepted its first inmate on July 1, 1876. For the next 33 years 3,069 prisoners, including 29 women, served sentences there for crimes ranging from murder to polygamy. In 1909, the last prisoner left due to over population. As you visit, you'll find that several other organizations occupied this institute/location thereafter. It's definitely a place to check out if you haven't been there yet.
I'm sure many learned their lesson once going into the DARK CELL!!
Where the only light source was a tiny hole in the center of the caged cell.
While I was visiting, I was able to shoot some "INNOCENT" lingering Inmates.
